Dr. Gorman earned his DMD from the University of Florida College of Dentistry and his IV conscious sedation certification from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. A Tallahassee native and U.S. Navy Desert Storm veteran, he combines general, cosmetic and implant dentistry with IV and oral sedation — so he can complete a full-mouth restoration in one comfortable visit.

Sedation Dentistry FAQ
Is sedation dentistry safe?
For most healthy adults, sedation given by a trained, certified dentist is a safe and well-established part of dental care. Dr. Gorman holds IV conscious sedation certification and reviews your full medical history before recommending a sedation level.
Will I remember the procedure?
With IV sedation, most patients remember little or nothing of their treatment. Oral sedation leaves you deeply relaxed but usually more aware, and with nitrous oxide you stay alert but calm. Dr. Gorman will explain exactly what to expect for your treatment plan.
Do I need someone to drive me home?
Yes. After oral or IV sedation you will need a responsible adult to drive you home, and you should plan to rest for the remainder of the day.
Which office should I visit?
Whichever is closer — the same sedation and dental services are offered at both. Our Miramar office serves South Broward, including Pembroke Pines, Hallandale Beach, Cooper City and Davie. Our Lighthouse Point office serves Pompano Beach, Deerfield Beach and Boca Raton.
Do you accept insurance or offer financing?
