How It Works
Gentle Steps Toward a Straighter Smile
Invisalign uses a series of custom clear trays. Each one is worn for about two weeks and gently shifts your teeth a little closer to their final position before you move on to the next.
Wear your aligners 20 to 22 hours a day, taking them out only to eat, drink anything other than water, brush and floss. Because they are removable, you can also take them out for special occasions like photos or interviews.
Regular check-ups with Dr. Gorman keep your treatment on track. Most cases take about 12 to 18 months; mild cases can finish in as little as six.

How long does Invisalign take?
Most patients finish in 12 to 18 months; mild cases can take as little as six months. Dr. Gorman gives you a personal timeline at your consultation.
Is Invisalign better than braces for adults?
For many adults with mild to moderate alignment issues, Invisalign offers comparable results in a discreet, removable form. Dr. Gorman will tell you if you are a good candidate.
How much does Invisalign cost?
Invisalign typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000 depending on case complexity. Many dental plans with orthodontic benefits cover part of it, and financing is available.
